Q. How much does it cost to place an advert on free-classified-ads.org.uk?
A. It is completely free to place an advert on this site, hence the name "free classified ads"
Q. How many items can I advertise?
A. There is no limit to the amount of adverts you can place, however you must not add repeat listings for the same item.
Q. How long will my advert remain on the site?
A. Adverts will automatically be removed after 30 days. If you sell the item before the 30 days are up then you will have the option of removing it from the site. There is no reason why you can't re-list items once they have expired if you still haven't sold them.
Q. Are there any items that I am not allowed to place an advert for?
A. Yes. All ads must comply with UK Trading Standards. You may not place adverts for any of the following items: adult material, weapons, pirate software / cds / dvds, tobacco product, alcohol, dangerous or endangered animals or anything else considered illegal in any way.
Q. Can I place HTML tags in my advert?
A. No. Any HTML will be removed from the advert
Q. Can I upload photos of my listing?
A. Sorry, at this time we do not allow users to upload photos of their listing
Q. Can I edit my adverts after I have listed them?
A. Yes. You can login with your chosen password at any time to edit any listings you have made.
Q. How do I remove and advert?
A. From your account menu click "Edit my listings". Click on the advert you wish to remove from the list of current adverts. Then simply click on the "Remove" button at the bottom of the page.
Q. I can't login or I have forgotten my password, what can I do?
A. Please get in contact with us via our contact form
Q. I have spotted a suspicious advert, what should I do?
A. Please report any suspicious adverts immediately to us via our contact form and we will look into them as soon as possible.
